16+ (5+ when accompanied by a parent or guardian.)
What We Will Do:
Project Helping volunteers will help assemble and personalize Kynd Kits that will go directly to the Children's Hospital to support parents and guardians of children who are navigating a mental health crisis.
Parents in these situations often endure long wait times and overwhelming stress while their children receive treatment. By adding DIY elements and meaningful touches - such as decorating journals, self - care items, games and other supportive resources - volunteers will help provide comfort and encouragement. This experience gives volunteers the chance to make an immediate and tangible impact, brining compassion to families in some of the most challenging times.

Location: Project Helping Office, 2rd Floor of PNC building (elevator code 8100)
There is parking in the PNC building parking lot.
Where to Meet:
Enter the lobby of the PNC bank building, use the stairs on the left, or turn right for the elevators and enter the code: 8100. The Project Helping office is on the second floor!
Check in with your Project Helping lead when you arrive. They will be wearing Do. Good. Feel Good. gear, and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast!
